Job Description
Anzenna is looking for a candidate to join a state-of-the art unit that provides structural biology based information to expedite the design of new electrochemical based biosensors.
Specifically, the candidate will be part of the DNA isolation and purification group responsible for producing immobilized DNA based sensors used for various clinical applications.
The candidate will be expected to participate in experimental design and be able to independently conduct experiments. In addition, they will be expected to participate in a project team setting and provide technical input to team decisions. Associates will be responsible for maintaining clear records of experimental work and have the ability to organize report and communicate their results.

Qualifications
Candidates must have a BA/BS in biological sciences or engineering. Master’s level preferred. Must be able to work well independently and collaboratively. Strong communication, writing and presentation skills. Good leadership and organizational skills. Be logical, systematic, curious, and self-motivated. Ability to learn new technologies and solve problems.

Required Skills
Prior experience in a laboratory setting. Sample handling experience with Hematology, Serology, Immunology and Chemistry preferred.
Prior Quality Control experience is a plus.
Experience with a variety of laboratory techniques and procedures including performing immune cell isolations, digital flow cytometry, ELISAs, DNA/ RNA isolations, PCR, RT-PCR, quantitative PCR and Western blots is preferred.
Knowledge in Antigen- Antibody Interaction, DNA purification from different sources, Electrochemistry, Biosensor development, protein expression, purification and characterization is a plus as well.
